CLZ Books is a subscription app, costing:
* $1.49 per month, when paying monthly

* $14.99 per year, when paying yearly (~ $1.25 per month)
For this subscription fee, you get:
* usage of this book organizer app on multiple phones and tablets
* access to our Core online book database, for full book details and cover art
* access to to our CLZ Cloud system, for syncing between devices, backups and online sharing
* regular app updates with new features and improvements
* access to our excellent customer support by email, 7 days a week
You can start a 7-day free trial from the apps start-up screen. The free trial automatically continues into the subscription of your choice. You can cancel your subscription anytime.
** About auto-renewable subscriptions:
* The payment will be charged to your iTunes Account when you confirm the purchase.
* The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
* Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Automatic renewals will cost the same price you were originally charged for the subscription.
* You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
* Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Glad to use it. What i needed

A "must have" for the serious book lover. Have your list of books right at your fingertips! Never buy a duplicate book again. Always have your wishlist with you & more.
I love the fact that now my book collection is mobile ive had movie collector for years and made it mobile and when i saw that book collector was doing the same i bought the program for my home and bought the app nothing is ever perfect but i dont regret one cent spent on those programs or app, as for customer service its always top notch Thank you!!
I have been using the PC version for 5-6 years now and love it. The iPhone version is a wonderful way to have my collection at my fingertips, always. Highly recommended for any book collector!
Software for the PC is great. This just makes it all that much better.
I like that this provides me mobility to my books collection. I keep track of all the books I want to read. When going to the library, I just have to bring this app and find the books Im really looking for.
I which it could gives me easy access to personal review but other then that, great app.
Some bad moments
I got the latest update to this program and it didnt work. It would show the start screen and then close. I remembered that the last update required a re-sync that I hadnt done yet, no problem, Ill just uninstall and then redownload and sync.
I uninstalled the program, then redownloaded it. Normally, it gives you a warning that you already own it and asks if you want to download it for free. This time, it didnt ask, it just charged me again for an app that I already own. :(
$10 for a viewer only? Are they kidding?
Then another $10 if you want to just view on your iPad?
$30 for the desktop program and extra for upgrades?
Promised editing and additional functionality in the iApps for years now, but never delivered, just an endless money pit for empty promises.
These bozos only added limited eBook support after many people complained and pointed out that Calibre was doing for free what this developer claimed was impossible.
Save your money. This arrogant bunch are just a sick joke.
Potential buyer, please be aware that this app only lets you view your existing collection. You cannot use this app to add titles to or edit titles in your database. This means the value of your iDevices portability is cut in half, since you can consult your database while shopping (useful, though I imagine many people, like me, mostly shop online for books these days), but you cannot add a title to your database if, say, someone gives you a recommendation during a party (capturing these ephemeral bits of information is where handheld devices truly shine).
As a database viewer, this app is barely adequate. Navigation is idiosyncratic (as in, the opposite of intuitive), and the display options are odd. Who the hell wants to view his collection as a mosaic of covers? But its not as if theres essential information missing in the handheld version of your book collection database.
I would not have purchased this app if I had realized that I couldnt use it to add titles. But its not (quite) a total waste.
Not much in the way of a database. Not worth 9.99 save your money
Total ripoff
Bought the original version and found out you had to buy the software for the computer to make it work. Bought the software and founded so cumbersome that I switched to book crawler. Saw the update and decided to try it. bought it for $15 and found out to get it to work properly you need to buy a yearly subscription upgrade their software. Sticking with book crawler for $2 works with out the hassle and cost
Come on... Who pays $15 to unlock an app! Thats just crazy compared to other apps just like this on the App Store. Ill be finding something else to use. There are lots of book inventory apps for a LOT cheaper.
